深セン・龍崗（ロンガン）への出張で無駄な遠回りは不要！このホテルなら、立地と周辺環境のおかげで移動時間を2時間も節約できます
今回、深センの龍崗エリアでプロジェクトの打ち合わせがあり、あえて「Sandborg Hotel Shenzhen」を選んで4日間滞在しました。そこで痛感したのは、龍崗でホテルを選ぶ際、単なる内装の豪華さよりも、交通の便や周辺環境の利便性の方がはるかに重要だということです。このホテルのおかげで、毎日の移動時間を少なくとも2時間節約でき、古い市街地の渋滞に巻き込まれてイライラすることも全くありませんでした。
このホテルの交通アクセスの良さは、龍崗エリアの中でも際立っています。龍崗大道3002号という好立地にあり、地下鉄3号線の「塘坑（タンカン）」駅までわずか570メートル（徒歩7分）です。3号線に乗れば福田（フクティエン）中心部へ乗り換えなしで直行できるため、朝のラッシュ時に急な会議で都心へ向かう際も、道路の渋滞を心配する必要がありません。ホテルの目の前は幹線道路の龍崗大道なので、タクシーの配車も非常にスムーズです。「横崗（ホンガン）眼鏡城」へはわずか1.9キロ（車で10分）ですし、周辺の産業パークや工場へ商談に行く際も、車を呼んで待たされることはほとんどなく、時間を無駄にしません。車でお越しの方にはさらに便利で、約200台分の無料駐車場（無人管理）が完備されており、周辺で駐車場を探して走り回る必要もなく、出入りも非常にスムーズです。
周辺施設の充実度も期待以上でした。ホテルのすぐ近く（140メートル先）には「万匯城（ワンフイチェン）」、320メートル先には「麟恒中心広場（リンヘン・センタープラザ）」があり、チェーンの飲食店やブランドスーパー、ビジネス向けのカフェなどを利用したい場合も、外に出てすぐの場所で見つけられます。クライアントとの打ち合わせで雰囲気の良い茶餐廳（香港式カフェレストラン）を探す際も、わざわざタクシーで遠出する必要はなく、徒歩5分圏内で適切な場所を選べます。深夜まで残業して戻ってきた場合でも、ホテルの下の通り沿いには潮汕（チャオシャン）風の麺料理店や地元の屋台（大排檔）が明け方まで営業しており、デリバリーを頼まなくても、温かい地元の夜食を楽しむことができます。ちょっとした空き時間にリラックスするのも非常に便利です。徒歩210メートルの距離には「六約公園」があり、一日の仕事を終えた夕方に散歩をして風に当たれば、移動の疲れもすぐに吹き飛びます。また、徒歩1.9キロの場所には「横崗眼鏡城」があり、仕事の合間に立ち寄って、コスパ抜群のメガネを探すこともできます。少し遠くのスポットへ出かける場合でも、地下鉄で数駅行けば「大運中心」にアクセスでき、週末の空き時間に周辺を散策するのも良いでしょう。

深夜到着の旨を事前に伝えておいたところ、フロントは静かな高層階のビジネスルームを用意してくれただけでなく、夜間用クイックチェックイン窓口にルームキーを準備しておいてくれました。深夜1時のチェックイン手続きは3分もかからず、ロビーで列に並んで待つ必要もありませんでした。35平方メートルのデラックスルームは広々としており、窓際の大きなデスクには十分な作業スペースが確保されています。マルチポート充電パネルやギガビット対応の有線LANポートも手元にあり、2時間にわたる海外とのビデオ会議でも通信速度は安定し、途切れることはありませんでした。数ギガバイトのプロジェクト図面を急遽送信する必要があった際も、わずか数秒で完了しました。寝具のサポート力も絶妙で、深夜まで仕事をした後に横になっても、柔らかすぎるマットレスのように腰が痛くなることはなく、翌朝の会議には万全のコンディションで臨めました。ホテルのビジネス向け設備は期待以上の充実ぶりでした。私が予約した小規模な多目的ルームは最大20名まで収容可能で、前日に担当スタッフと打ち合わせをしたところ、プロジェクター、マイク、会議資料のすべてが事前に完璧にセッティングされていました。途中で契約書の追加印刷が必要になった際も、24時間対応のビジネスセンターで数分以内に迅速に処理してもらえました。朝食ビュッフェは10時まで利用できますが、早朝の会議でゆっくり食事をする時間がない場合でも、スタッフがパン、卵、温かい豆乳などを入れた「持ち帰り用朝食セット」を快く用意してくれます。これならバッグに入れて、そのまま会議に向かうことができます。また、約200台分の無料駐車場（無人管理）を完備しており、車で工場視察に来られるお客様も駐車場所に困ることはありません。
